The DCE a week ago assembled tipper trucks, excavators and other machines for reshaping and maintaining some portions of the road in the district.

The roads in the area are in bad shape especially in the raining season. The nature of the roads during the raining season have affected residents especially traders and farmers in the area.

Its very difficult for one to travel from Nakpali to Zagzugu during raining seasons but reshaping the road will make the area very accessible and connect the district to the rest of the communities within the eastern corridor area.

This perennial situation has made the district Assembly led by the DCE to deploy the earthmoving machines to maintain the roads for easy access and motorable.
A resident who gave his name as Abdalla Huseini and a driver by profession said the intervention made by the DCE is unprecedented and worth all applauds.
“What this our new DCE is doing in the district is a very good job that we have never seen in this district and I pray he will continue working hard for us”
He said.

Speaking exclusively to our reporter Prince Kwame Tamakloe, Hon Iddrisu Abukari, explained that, as a son of the area, he has always had the development of Zabzugu and it’s environs at heart and he is committed in making Zabzugu one of the best develop districts in the country.
The Chief Executive also pledged to judiciously utilize the district’s assembly common fund and work assiduously to create more business opportunities for the youth in the district, adding that, the Nana Addo’s “One district, one factory ” policy will create massive employment for the people.

“ I’m a proud son of this land of Zabzugu thus, the development of the Zabzugu District is boiling in my stomach and therefore I must do everything within my capacity to make my people achieve the development they voted for ”
He assured.
