Youth of Dagbon are the future of Ghana- Former Prez Kufour

The former President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Agyekum Kufour has implored the youth of Dagbon to enhance their knowledge towards a better Dagbon and Ghana.

He urged the youth to take part and contribute positively their quota on the transformational development of the country, adding that, the only way the youth can take part of the country’s developmental process is to avoid violence of any nature.

Former President Kufour made this statement when the Deima Naa of the Dagbon Traditional Area, His Royal Highness, Abubakari Mohammed Awal paid a courtesy call on him at his residency in Accra.

Mr. Kufour advised the youth of Ghana to eskew violence but let their contributions towards the development of Ghana felt.

The visited of the Dagbon Deima Naa who also double as the Dagbon Youth Ambassador in-charge of cultural affairs is to formally informed the Former President about the Dagbon Culture Peace Concert scheduled this August.

Deima Naa Awal Mohammed said,  the impending peace concert is to promote the rich traditions and cultural diversity of the North.

He said,  invitation of the former President to the program is to further strengthen the relationship between the former first Gentleman and the people of Dagbon.

He said, the youth of Dagbon and North will forever be grateful to Mr. Kufour for the massive development in the North under his reigns.
