The newly elected NPP Northern Regional Chairman, Mr. Mohammed Baantima Adam Samba has called on all winners and losers in the just ended regional elections to continue to work together to improve the fortunes of the party in the region.

According to him, the NPP is one family that strive on unity and togetherness, saying that, the regional elections was a family contest.

Mr. Adam Samba a business mogul who defeated the incumbent Regional Chairman Mr. Daniel Bugri Naabu is the elections, Saturday, reiterated that, his victory is for the NPP, “It is the NPP that won and not me”.
Mr. Adam Samba at the end voting secured 312 to beat Bugri Naabu who had 116 votes.

In his victory speech, Mr. Samba assured members of the party of his preparedness to serve them for the betterment of the party in the region, reiterated that, his top most priority is to make the NPP more formidable and more attractive in the region.

He thanked the delegates of the party for the trust reposed in him and assured them of his relented efforts to deliver for the party.
The newly NPP Northern Regional Chairman again thanked the elections committee, members of the party and some high delegation from both the national office and the seat of government.

Five persons who contested keenly for the chairmanship position including the Regional NADMO Coordinator Alhaji Abdallah Hundu, Amdau Inusah Dagomba Boy and Alhaji Mugis Sibawey.
