Sagnarigu pupils excited on their first day at school

Pupils at the Sagnarigu District were excited on their first day at school when they received goodies from the DCE of the area,  Hon Iddrisu Mariam.

The Sagnarigu District Chief Executive presented sweets, pencils, erazers, sharpeners, crayons, soft drinks and biscuits to the school pupils.

Hon Mariam urged the pupils to learn very hard to become good citizens and help Ghana develop.

She advised the pupils to listen to their teachers and be disciplined.

Hon Mariam urged the teachers to teach and mentor the school children to become responsible people in future.

She noted that,  at that tender age all that the pupils needs is love and encourage from the teachers,  ” this little ones are your children and the future of Mother Ghana, so kindly treat them well and show them love”. She admonish the teachers

Hon Iddrisu Mariam assured teachers of the assembly’s support of providing educational infrastructure and materials to enhance teaching and learning in the schools.

The Sagnarigu DCE in a company with the Northern Regional Minister, Hon Salifu Saeed, Tamale Mayor, Iddrisu Superior, and officials of Ghana Education Service as part of this year’s ‘My First Day at School’ visited some selected schools in the district. 


The schools include, Dahansheli, Tiyumba, Kamina barracks, Kalipohini Anglican, Tamale International and Eto Royal international school.
