How Man Utd could line up next season with Dybala and Mandzukic replacing Lukaku

MANCHESTER UNITED could be about to unleash a fresh new forward line on the Premier League next season.

SunSport has exclusively revealed that United have been offered Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala AND £10million for Romelu Lukaku.

And both players will be expected to slot straight into the starting XI at Old Trafford this season.

Mandzukic is likely to take the central striker berth, with Dybala possibly playing off him.

Marcus Rashford should get on the flank opposite Dybala.

But the likes of Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard will have to be content for places on the bench, lookign to seize their chance when they get it.

In midfield it could be a real breakthrough season for Scott McTominay, who has impressed on pre-season.

Nemanja Matic should provide the experience in there with Paul Pogba perhaps offered the roving role at the tip of the diamond.

At the back United are still chasing Leicester centre-half Harry Maguire.

But if they fail to land the England star, Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof look the likely cenre-half pairing.

Luke Shaw will battle with Diogo Dalot at left-back, while new signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka will start on the right.

David De Gea, providing he finally signs a new five-year contract, will get the gloves.

Juve have offered Dybala, Mandzukic plus £10million in a package to land Lukaku this week.

Dybala’s wage demands will be an obstacle in that part of the deal as he wants parity with United’s higher earners and is willing to stay with the Serie A champions.

Mandzukic would offer cover in the No9 role following Lukaku’s departure after making it clear he wants to leave Old Trafford.

The Belgium striker, 26, travelled to London after being left behind from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad to face Kristiansund in a pre-season friendly.

Juve officials have also travelled over to meet Lukaku and talks are expected to continue over the next day.

Bianconeri chiefs even consulted Cristiano Ronaldo over recruiting the former Chelsea and Everton forward — to which the Portuguese gave his seal of approval.
