The Northern Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Daniel Bugri Naabu has urged the party youth to do away with things that have the tendency to create chaos in the party.
He said using violence in addressing grievances within the party is a bad approach, adding that, the party has structures where grievances are address amicably without violence.
The NPP Chairman was speaking to one of the vibrant youth of the party, urged them to do away with violence.
The youth calling themselves Invincible Brothers of the NPP on Sunday had a disagreement with the party leadership at the NPP Chairman house that resulted in some fracas.
The Invincible Brothers of the NPP in remorse apologize to Mr. Bugri Naabu for their actions and pledge to use the right channel in address their grievances.
The NPP youth claimed they have been neglected by the party leadership after working so hard for the party to come topower.
They stated that, unlike other youth groups in the party, their group has been sideline in partaking party activities.
For redress, the Invisible Brothers on Sunday went to the NPP Chairman’s house where passions flare resulting in breaking of three plastic chairs.
Speaking to savannanews24.com, the PRO of the group Mr. Tahiru Mustapha Al- Kabir said though they have a good case however the actions towards the chairman was uncalled for, “that’s why we have render unqualified apology to the regional chairman”.
He said, the group has replace the broken chairs at the chairman’s house and pledge not to ever engage in any act of violence, “we have a very good relationship with party’s leadership and we will continue to maintain that for the cohesion of the NPP”
In their letter of apology signed by the secretary of the group, Mr. Alahssan A Manan said they are very sorry for the unfortunate incident that happens at the chairman house.
