Ghana will lose a national asset over COVID-19 – Nana Agbazor reveals

The Somowura of the Gonja Traditional Area and spiritual leader of the Agbazor Shrine, Abdulai Arimiyaw popularly known as Nana Agbazor has revealed that Ghana will lose a very important personality and national asset through the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to him, it is only the Almighty God who can avert such calamity thus the country needs serious prayers to undo the havoc of the Coronavirus pandemic.

“The country needs serious prayers, we must cry to God for His intervention and forgiveness. The deadly Coronavirus have destroyed many lives and brought untold hardship to families across the globe”. He said

Speaking to the media in Tamale about his revelations, the renowned spiritual leader reiterated that, the Coronavirus pandemic is ordained by God, “for us to repent and ask for forgiveness”.

Nana Agbazor posited that, COVID-19 pandemic is a divine sign to the world that God, Almighty is not happy with the evil things been perpetrated on earth, saying that, “a lot of bad things have been perpetrated on innocent souls in our lands, killings of children, arm robbery, rapping and other dehumanize practices around the world”.

The Agbazor Shrine leader, revealed that, the world is paying a price for its atrocities, reiterating that, the only way to fight and defeat the Coronavirus pandemic is by prayers.

Currently, Ghana has 7,117 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, 34 deaths, and 2,317 recoveries, but Nana Agbazor hinted that, the number of confirmed and death cases will rise unless Ghana do the needful of praying very hard for God’s intervention.

“Ghana will continue to face challenges and hardships if nothing is done to avert these calamities”. He said

The renowned spiritual leaders noted that, all the preventatives and precaution protocols have been observed with zeal except prayers, “There is nothing beyond prayers but how serious are we as a country in terms of prayers. We have tried all the methods, it is time for us to pray very hard for God forgiveness and intervention…the gods have revealed to me that Ghana will lose a prominent person through this Coronavirus but we can pray for the better”.

Nana Agbazor since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic has educated and donated several PPEs to some communities within the Salaga North and Tamale South constituencies both in the Savanna and Northern Regions.

The Spiritual Leader of the Agbazor Shrine urged the public to continue observing the COVID-19 protocols such as wearing of a nose mask, social distancing, washing of hands with soap, the use of alcohol-based sanitizers and avoid handshaking.

Nana Agbazor took the opportunity to thank the media for educating the populace about the Coronavirus pandemic. “You the media have taken the lead in sensitizing our people about this deadly virus…we thank you”.
