Ghana goes back to IMF for bailout

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has authorised the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta to commence formal engagement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), inviting the fund to support an economic program.

This was made known in a statement released by the Ministry of Information on July 1, 2022.
