Division 2 clubs in the north to get sponsorship package- Abu Imoro

Northern Regional Football Association Chairman Abdulai Alhassan (Abu Imoro) has announced that there will be sponsorship package for the 2017 Division 2 League.

He made this announcement during the annual congress on Saturday 8th July 2017 held at the Tamale Stadium.

He stressed that the sponsorship deal which has already been agreed with his own company will not take effect in the preliminary round of the league but rather be effective in the Sub Middle League Stages.
His company name was not mentioned.

Congress approved 200 Ghana Cedis as affiliation fee for already registered clubs while new entrants will pay 300 Ghana Cedis as affiliation fee plus 500 Ghana Cedis for registration fee.

Transfer Identity form (T1 Form) was adopted at congress to be used by all clubs in the division 2 league for the 2017 Season as the biametric registration system is engulfed with alot difficulties.

The congress was held to usher in the new football season in the region as it has always been the case every year.

However a date was not scheduled for the commencement for this year’s Second Division League.
