Dagbon Naatia commissioned new palace

The Naatia of the Dagbon Traditional area, Chief Naatia Salifu Shiraz has commissioned an ultra-modern palace building to add significance to the chieftaincy institution in Dagbon.

The palace which is a two storey building with etiquette and artistry African designs is located at Sagnarigu Kukuo in the Sagnarigu District of the Northern Region.

The palace has a grand parlor, an office and a guest room with modern facilities in it.

The magnificent parlor is beautiful crafted with high class customized furniture that has a royal touch.



Speaking to savannanews24.com, the renowned spiritualist and philanthropist said, the ultra modern palace was build to bring modernity into the traditional edifice of Dagbon, “Instead of building round houses, we can also build nice and beautiful palaces to befit our status as traditional leaders”. He said


Chief Naatia who is also the spiritual leader of the Kejebi Shrine said, his palace will serve as a tourist attraction to many visitors, adding that, the chieftaincy institution is revered and a noble one which must be preserve at all time.


The Commissioning of the palace was witness by various traditional leaders from Dagbon including the Dagbon Diema Mohammed Awal.
