Dagbon Deima Naa Abubakari Mohammed Awal has pay a courtesy call on the Embassador of Germany, His Excellency Christopher Retzlaff to formally invite him to the Dagbon Culture for Peace Concert scheduled this August.
The concert among other things is to promote the traditions and cultural endowment of Dagbon to the rest of the world.
His Majesty, Dagbon Deima Naa reiterated the importance of the concert and the impact in bringing peace and prosperity in Dagbon.
The Deima Naa who is also the Dagbon Youth Ambassador in-charge of cultural affairs, indicates that, the people of Dagbon and German has a very long outstanding relationship that dated over hundreds years ago.
He said, the invitation of the German Ambassador to the maiden Culture for Peace Concert is to further enhance and deepen that relationship.
Deima Naa Awal said, there are so many things both the people of Dagbon and Germany can do together to promote diversity.
His Excellency, Ambassador Christopher Retzlaff thanked the Dagbon Deima Naa for the hand of friendship.
He said, Ghana is one of the stable democracy and very successful economy in Africa, adding that, Ghana has been a perfect example to the rest of Africa and the world.
The Germany Ambassador said, the North of Ghana is bound with several opportunities, “I was in the North some weeks ago and I visited the Larabanga Mosque and Mole game”.
H.E. Christopher Retzlaff was with his deputy Hans-Helge Sander and Development Cooperation attaché, Elizabeth Schwarz.
The Dagbon Deima Naa was accompanied by Chief Musah Yahaya Yandu (Paramount Zabarma Chief in Ghana), Tema Deima Naa Razak and among royal personalities.
