The 1978 Africa Footballer of the Year Award winner, Abdul Razak Karim, believes Andre Dede Ayew has more years in his career to pick the CAF player of the year Award.
He has therefore advised the young player not to be discouraged after failing to win the 2015 edition.
The 26-year-old winger for the second time in five years finished third behind four-time winner Yaya Toure and Gabon star Pierre Emerick Aubameyang during the 2015 award in Abuja.
“It’s not all lost yet. Dede and the rest are all young boys coming so they shouldn’t be discouraged. The only thing I will tell them is to keep on playing and keep the performance high all the time since he has more playing time.”
So far, the Black Stars deputy captain has recorded seven goals in 21 English Premier League appearances for Swansea this season.
