TUFA CEO sympathized with Kotoko

The Chief Executive Officer of the Tamale Utrecht Football Academy, Mr. Abu Alhassan has expressed the Academy’s profound condolences to the Ashanti Kotoko football club for the demise of the club’s Logistics Officer.

The logistics officer of the Porcupine warriors, Mr. Kofi Asare died whiles other sustain various degrees of injuries when their bus collided with Rhino truck carryng bags of fertilizers.

The Ashanti Kotoko football team were traveling back to Kumasi after suffering a 1:0 defeat from Inter Allies FC in the Ghana Premier League mid-week fixture which was played in Tema on Wednesday.

In press statement to console Kotoko, Mr. Alhassan urged the club not be despair but remain strong under this unfortunate situation.

On behalf of the management of Tamale Utrecht , I wish to express our sympathies to Asante Kotoko F/C, for the loss of their Logistics Officer and injuries sustained by some members of the Technical Team and the playing body. We wish the departed the mercies of our creator Allah and speedy recovery to the injured. We wish the Kotoko family all the best to overcome this unpleasant event which should not discourage them but rather spur them on to achieve more laurels in the near future
