Saboba: Police Superintendent donates to conflict victims Takal :

The District Commander for Sefwi Bekwai, Superintendent Martin Ntelabi Iningan has donated some items to support Conflict Victims in the Saboba District. The donation was made to the Binafeib faction at Tingbaln.

Items donated worth about 10,000.00 includes Ten (10) bundles of roofing sheets and 200 piece of roofing boards and other building materials.

On April 4,2021 there was a conflict between two factions, the Binafeib and Nankpantib at Tingbaln over a piece of land.

The conflict led one dead, two severely injured and many houses touched.

Addressing the media, Superintendent Martin described the incident as unfortunate and condemned it without equivocation.

Mr Ntelabi called for sustainable peace in the constituency and admonished the traditional leadership of the feuding factions (Nankpantiib and Binafeib) of Konkomba clans to ceasefire and cooperate with the law enforcement agencies in the restoration of peace.

He argued that the recent insecurity in the area is worrying and urged the two groups to give peace a chance and charged the security urgency to hasten investigation to the cause of the conflict.

He further advice the community members to report any threat on their lives to the security on the grounds and appeals to government, National Disaster Management Organization ( NADMO) and NGOs to come to the aid of the victims expertially the Binafeed factions who have lost everything.

Receiving the items,the Community members thanked Superintendent Martin Ntelabi Iningan for the kind gesture and also extended their call on National Disaster Management Organisation, humanitarian organisations and private individual to see the need to support them come back to their normal life .
