As part of the government directives on compulsory wearing of nose mask to help curb the spread of Coronavirus virus in Ghana, the 2020 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Saboba Hon Joseph Bukari Ninkpe embark on mass distribution of nose marks in some major markets in the Saboba District.
The exercise started from Wapuli market where a total of over a thousand nose mask were distributed to market men and women.
During the exercise, the NDC constituency vice chairman Mr.Muyo Nantein who spoke on behalf of Hon Joseph Bukari Ninkpe says “The decision was taken after the president announced the compulsory wearing of Nose mask during his last address to the nation with regards to Covid19 .even though Saboba has not recorded any case of Coronavirus, however, the president alone can not fight the virus so, we are distributing over thousands of nose marks to help the government fight the virus .” He again calls on all voters in the district to vote Hon Joseph Bukari as the MP for Saboba constituency in the December 7th elections.
Speaking to some NDC youth, Mr.Elvis Nagbeja told Gaakii news that the exercise is not to take away someone responsibility by acknowledging the steps taking by the District Assembly in fighting the Pandemic. He further educates some the public on the uses of the Marks to prevent the virus.
Speaking to some of the beneficial, Madam Amina a trader in the market expresses his happiness for providing them with nose marks and says this is the first time they have seen such exercise being carried out since the virus broke. She told Hon Bukari Ninkpe to come to there aid any time the needs arise.
She further seeks for God’s victory in the coming general elections.
