The regent of Dagbong Kampakuya Naa Abdulai Yakubu has received a brand new Holland TTM 350 tractor and other farming accessories from the Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamadu Bawumia.

This was presented to him by the Northern Regional Minister Hon. Salifu Sa-eed and the Northern Regional chairman of NPP, Mr. Adam Samba on behalf of the Vice President.

The presentation of the tractor according to the Minister forms part of government plants to encourage traditional authorities to take interest in the planting for food and jobs policy.
The planting for food and job is a five year long policy introduce by the NPP government which is geared towards increasing food productivity and ensure food security for the country as well as reduce food import bills to the barest minimum.

The Kampakuya Naa who couldn’t hide his excitement thanked the Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia and the delegation.

The Dagbong Regent called on the youth of Dagbong to take advantage of the planting for food and job policy to improve their lot.
