The President of the Association, Mr. Tio Fidelis Nkpetere, stated that giving to the less privileged is a great deed in the bible that is highly revered by God and is of relevance to every Christian’s spiritual growth.
He explained that as part of this year’s week celebration, the association decided to the make the donations in order to touch the lives of these young ones.
“I believe it is always good to give to help to the less privileged and also pray for them and God will bless you.
Because, God said  if you do it for a brother or sister, you have done it to him and that is why the executives and the members have shown such love” He said.
Mr. Nkpetere also called on philanthropists and other Non-Governmental Organizations as well as individuals to come to the aid of the less privileged in society, especially children since they are the future of every nation.
He said that the donation was just an aspect of the week celebration, stating that they will also do clean up exercises in some selected hospital.
The care takers at the orphanage expressed their gratitude to the association for their kind gesture and also called on others who can help to come to their aid often, since they were in dire need to support the children.
