NPP Constituency elections: EC must show fairness and competence – Alhaji Hindu Yaro:

The  Northern Regional Chairman hopeful of the New Patriotic Party  ( NPP ), Alhaji Abdallah Hindu says, the  success of the upcoming NPP’s  constituency election is rested on the  technical competence of the Electoral Commission  (EC ), the  prevailing security atmosphere and the need for Political actors to play the  game by the  rules.
According to Alhaji Hindu,  the Security agencies and EC should provide security and  sense of  fairness to all the aspirants. He calls on the  Police and the Military to accept that their  role is to facilitate. Adding that, aspirants themselves will have to accept the rules of the game,  hence,  educate their supporters to distance themselves from violence .
Alhaji Abdallah Hindu made the call at  a Press Conference held  in Tamale on Monday, February 19, 2018.
“Our constituency primary election is forthcoming to elect constituency executives across Ghana following the expiration of the mandate of the current constituency executives which is stipulated in  article 7 of our party constitution ” Alhaji Hindu said.
He opines that, when the three elements  (ie the EC, Security and Aspirants ) are  adhered to, will lead to free fair and credible elections come  24th to 27th of February 2018, across the 270 constituencies.
Alhaji Abdallah Hindu again,  urged all members of the NPP to bury their differences and forge on, for unity during and after the election and not to see it as a platform to throw dirty punches at other aspirants.
“This is the time to make a rightful move by voting for a candidate who is trust worthy, accessible and has the party at heart. Be part of the change and preach peace always. The  time is now “he added.
