The youngest duo Afro pop artiste in Africa, 2S has bemoaned the level of juju or black magic in the northern music industry.
The duo Ibtihaj Hardi and Nihad Hardi accuses some musicians and their managers of using juju on them to curtail their music career.
They hinted that, instead of helping to grow and unearthed their God-giving talent, their seniors and fathers in the music industry are rather working hard to kill their talent.
The two sisters (2S) who came to the music limelight 2 years ago with their ‘Lahazibsi’ hit track became the first youngest Afropop duo singers in North Ghana.
The elders of sisters Ibtihaj Hardi in an interview lamented that, they are too young for this ‘juju things’, “we are only children who want to educate our peers on various developmental issues through our music. And we have demonstrated that in our music. We are not in competetion with anyone”.
2S indicated that, they have become role models to their colleagues and the society at large., adding that, “music is our talent and God Almighty is our guide”.
The talented young stars accuses most of musicians of sabotage and hatred though their father Bitter Flesh of Kaya fame, a music legend and one of the originated of hip life music in the northern region have help a lot of artsiste to grow.
“our father have help most of them to grow and now they are treating his daughters badly ” 2S lamented
“But remember if you treat us bad as daughters of your colleague, one day it will pay your children “. The two sisters posited
They however reiterated that, no amount of juju and sabotage can deter them to exploit their God-giving talent, adding that, “we are the future of northern music whether they like it or not”.
Meanwhile, the young stars have pour their prostrations on their latest single entitled “Tibizanda” literally meaning “we aren’t stopping “.
The “Tibizanda” single will be premiere today on various radios stations in the Tamale metropolis.
