N/R: NPP wishes NDC well in tomorrow’s regional elections

The Northern Region branch of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has sent its warmest felicitations to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the latter holds its regional elections in the newly created regions, North-East and Savannah Regions respectively, scheduled on Saturday 25th May 2019.

In a press release issued and signed by the Regional Communication Director of the Party, Mr. Sule Salifu, again wishes the best of luck to all candidates vying for various positions of the NDC in the newly created regions.

The statement urged the NDC in the region to emulate the good democratic ideals of the NPP. “Our great party, the NPP last week organised a successful and incident-free regional elections in both the North-East and Savannah Regions respectively and it is our fervent hope that the NDC will emulate the good democratic practices of the NPP”. The release said

The NPP in the Northern Region again beseeched the NDC party to conduct the elections in an atmosphere devoid of antagonism, violence and rancor to ensure a very peaceful and successful regional elections.

NPP WISHES NDC WELL IN TOMORROW ELECTIONS

The NPP in the Northern Region in the spirit of democracy wishes the NDC well in its Regional Elections in both the North–East and Savannah Regions, scheduled on Saturday 25th May 2019.

We (NPP- Northern Region) want to also send our warmest felicitations to all the candidates vying for various positions of the NDC party in the regions.

Our great party, the NPP last week organised a successful and incident-free regional elections in both the North-East and Savannah Regions respectively and it is our fervent hope that the NDC will emulate the good democratic practices of the NPP.

It is our hope that, the party will elect leaders who will see the need to support the NPP’s development agenda, a transformational agenda for Ghana.

The NDC must elect leaders who will not think of reversing the progress so far chalked under the Nana Addo led NPP administration especially the Free SHS, Planting for Food and Jobs, 1D1D, 1D1F among others.

It is the hope of the leadership of the NPP led by Chairman Mohammed Baantimah Adam Samba that getting officers for the vacant positions will be done peaceful and in tandem with acceptable democratic practices.

It is our expectation that the NDC will conduct the elections in an atmosphere devoid of antagonism, violence and rancor to ensure a very peaceful and successful regional elections.

We once again, wish the NDC well.
