Mobile Phone Technicians Association (MoPTA) wishes Ghanaians a happy Independence Day on the theme “Our Gains” as a country as they took part in yesterday’s match pass at the parade grounds in Tamale.

MoPTA is a young group with a membership of about 100 in the metropolis growing up in the Region with affiliates across the nation and it’s registered under the laws of the land.

MoPTA said their main aim is to certify costumer and protect the integrity, interest, rights of both technicians and customers.

According to MoPTA, “solving your mobile phone problems just like doctor in the hospital”.

They said they can be called phone doctors since they also diagnose and find solutions to phone problems like medical doctors do to their patients at the hospital.

MoPTA also added that their members can be identified with their posters at their shops, MoPTA ID cards and their certificates to ensure surety among them and their customers.

We are taking steps to stop the thievery call “phone swapping” in the metropolis of which most of them are foreigners/Nigeria’s and also to get rid of  fake phone repairers in the system, says MoPTA

The member who spoke to savannanews24.com on behalf of his members said, the association is hoping to satisfy customers and also help increase the confidence between them (MoPTA) and the general public.

MoPTA said their doors are always opened for those who are also willing to be trained to become mobile phones technicians.
