Mion DCE urge Senior Citisens not bury their experience

The Mion District Chief Executive in the Northern region, Hon Mohammed Hashim Abdullai has urge senior citizens of the area to be proactive and not coil back in the development of the district.

Presenting twenty(20) awards to senior citizens at the republic day celebration organized by his outfit, he appealed to the aged awardees to use their rich experiences to admonish the younger generation to work hard for the development of the area.

According to him government alone cannot succeed without involving the experienced, hence they should educate and encourage the occupants of Mion to take advantage of the government policies most especially the planting for food and jobs to ensure food security and jobs in the district.

Hon Hashim commended the awardees for contributing significantly in the previous and current government towards the development and conducive atmosphere in the district.

He referred their support to the Ghanaian society as legendary contribution, which cannot be quantify in monetary value, thus a day is scale out to celebrate and merry with them.
