The Member of Parliament for the Gushegu Constituency of the Northern Region, Hon Alhaji Alhassan Sulemana Tampuli has pledged to construct an ultra-modern palace for the Kpatinga Traditional area.
He hinted that the contract has since been awarded to a contractor and work will commence very soon.
According to the Gushegu MP, the construction of an ultra-modern palace for the Chief of Kpatinga, Naa Bapri Kpantinglana will not only befit the Kpatinga paramountcy status but will go a long way to consolidate the peace in the area.
Again, a befitting traditional palace will attract tourists to the area.
Alhaji Alhassan Tampuli made this announcement during a courtesy call on the newly enskinned Kpatinglana at his palace in Kpatinga on Sunday.

The visit was to congratulate the Chief on his elevation to the Kpatnga skin.
The Kpatinga skin earlier has been in dispute following a feud between two rival factions to the skin that lead to some disturbances in the area.
The Gushegu MP at the palace gave thanks and praises to the Almighty Allah for bringing peace to the area.
He again thanked the Chiefs and people of Kpatinga, as well as all stakeholders who contributed immensely towards the restoration of peace in the area.
Mr Tampuli called on the people of Kpantinga and its environs to put their differences behind them but forge ahead for absolute development in the area.
He urged the people to support the newly enskinned Chief to bring about the needed peace and development to the area.
Hon Alhassan Tampui reiterates his commitment towards the development of the entire Gushegu Constituency, saying that, as the servant and messenger of the people, he will work very hard to bring development to the people.
Hon. Alhassan Tampuli donated a brand-new Apsonic Motorbike to the palace messengers to enhance and facilitate their movement on errands.
The Chief of Kpatinga, Naa Bapri kpatinglana on his part thanked the MP and his entourage for the visit and assures them of his unflinching support in bringing development to the area.
The Chief also thanked the people of Kpatinga for the warm reception and respect they accorded and continue to accord him since he was enskinned as the Kpatinglana by the Ya Naa.
He, therefore, admonishes the people of Kpatinga to bury all their differences and embrace oneness and togetherness for peaceful coexistence.
The Gushegu Legislator was accompanied by his wife, Hajia Morili, MCE for Gushegu Municipality, Chief Issah Musah and some NPP constituency executives as well as other party stalwarts in the Constituency.
