Former Nantong MP commends Tamale Mayor

The former Nantong MP and Deputy Minister of Trade , Comrade Ibrahim Mohammed Murtala has commended the Tamale Mayor, Mr. Musah Iddrisu Superior for working very hard to bring the much needed development to the Metropolis.
According to him, many mayors will not venture the way Mr. Superior is going but the latter is bold in making sure that he brings sanity to Tamale.
He stated that, the way of the Tamale Mayor may seems revolution thus people will have problems with him, “Superior has done so well, he is my friend and I know him very well, when he puts his mind on something he makes sure he succeed”.
Comrade Murtala said, the decongestion of the Tamale business district is very recommendable but urged the Tamale Mayor to balance his decisions by taking concerns of other people.
Some youth in the Metropolis last week demonstrated against the Tamale Mayor for what they term as brute tactics of the Mr. Iddrisu Musah Superior.
Another group two days ago also came out in support of the Tamale Mayor in a massive solidarity walk on the principal streets of Tamale.
In a Monday newspaper review on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV, Mr. Murtala said, majority of the people in Tamale love and supports the activities of Mr. Musah Superior.

He said, another cancer of the Tamale Metropolis is the number young men who are engaged is Internet fraud popularly known as sakawa.
According to the former Nantong legislator, there is moral decay in Tamale and the number of young men is the sakawa business is worrisome.
On the recent developments of armed robberies in the Tamale Metropolis, Comrade Murtala said, it is unusual of Tamale and therefore urged the security agencies to work hard to protect live and properties.
