The Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Mohammed Adam Samba has chastised former President John Mahama for inciting his party hoodlums against his own party people in Kumasi.

Some gun wielding machomen believed to be the NDC vigilante group the Hawks on Monday storm an ongoing meeting at the party’s office in Kumasi shot one dead and injured one. The NDC meeting which was been addressed by the NDC National Chairman Mr. Samuel Ampofo and the General Secretary, Mr. Aseidu Nketia have to run for cover.

Speaking on the issue, the NPP Chairman believed that the recent “boot for boot” comments made by Mr. John Mahama has bolden the Hawks to cause such mayhem with impunity.

Mr. Samba said, the NDC indeed is the most Violence party in Ghana per the description and touted of the former President Mahama. “We all saw the gross violence exhibited in our political history by the NDC. What happen in Kumasi is unfortunate, common party meeting and look at what happen. It is now crystal clear to Ghanaians the intentions of the NDC to unleash violence on innocent Ghanaians”.

The NPP Northern Regional Chairman reiterate that, politics is not about who can unleash violence but who can champion the aspirations of the Ghanaian people, “We can’t go that way, politics is not about violence”. He fumed

Mr. Samba called on the National Security to arrest anybody involved in the Kumasi shooting, “the police and the National Security must get to the bottom of this heinous crime”, he urged

The NPP Northern Chairman therefore admonish NPP youth to be discipline and refrain themselves from any provocations that might lead to violence.
