Hajia Muniratu Imoro popularly known as Auntie Muni waakye has been given the coveted Super Woman award to mark this year’s Mother’s Day Celebration in Accra.

Auntie Muni was awarded for her outstanding contributions to the empowerment and advancement of Women and Transformation of the society.

Hajia Muniratu has used her waakye business to help others through direct employment, education and entrepreneurship.

She has supported the education of about 15 children into the tertiary level and universities within the country including Ashesi, KNUST, UDS and University of Ghana, Legon.

Her beneficiaries today includes; bankers, IT professionals, entrepreneurs and among others.

The awards was put together by Jandel Limited.
